Maintain inventory for Newfield Drilling Services Incorporated (NDSI), including tracking inventory levels and costs and assisting with materials needs.
Detailed Description
Dispense and manage non-controllable material to NDSI employees and contractors
Manage NDSI inventory:
Tubing
Tubulars
Production trees
Test separators
Construction equipment
Truck hauling equipment
Other tracked items
Process and code invoices, utilizing ADP for controllable and non-controllable items
Ordering and stocking non-controllable material in the NDSI warehouse
Receive non-controllable items in Oracle/CMMS
Load and off load equipment in NDSI yards and warehouse
Snow removal as required
Office maintenance and serve as backup for team as assigned by Materials Lead
Special Projects as Needed
Job Requirements
Experience with and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required, including billing and invoice tracking and creation
Minimum of 20 hours forklift experience (or passed the 40 hour OSHA forklift school)
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in warehouse or other material management
Successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented with a proven record of working independently
Energetic self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the flexibility of working extended hours as needed
Experience in running and operating CMMS is a plus
Additional Details
High School Degree or GED equivalent required
Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds on a daily basis
Must be able to easily navigate Newfield field operations with a map
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Daily interactions with Materials Supervisor, Field Personnel, Field Foreman
Reports to Materials Lead
5 on 2 off schedule, rotational weekends and on call required
Wage is negotiable depending on experience
